Antoine Dodson accomplished his dream of buying his family a home away from the projects. The Alabama man shot to fame after he slammed his sister's attacker in the news, and a Gregory Brothers Auto-Tune of his rant soon hit iTunes. Good for him!

Antoine Dodson is especially motivational because he's managed to turn a terrible situation around and recognize the satiric aspects of the song itself. In other words, he's no dummy. While some people find the Bed Intruder song distasteful, the tune's popularity has helped Dodson put his family in a better place.

"I still can't believe this," he told Us magazine. "Even though my life is moving forward, it's at a standstill in my mind. I'm like, 'Wow! All of this is happening just off a news interview!'"

Antoine Dodson seems to have a great head on his shoulders about providing for his family. He didn't run out and buy a hot car with profit from Bed Intruder (he gets 50%): he bought a house in a safer area just like he promised. A business student, he also re-enrolled in his Associate's Degree program.

"That way I can take everything to the next level and be on a more professional level," he explained, saying that he hopes to open a salon or hotel one day.

I hope Dodson does open a salon. I saw him doing hair on YouTube, and he seems to love it. He's bright and positive, and any guy with strong family values is a gem today!
