Are the Simon Monjack Mold Rumors True?
They could be!
Last week, we wondered whether or not mold caused Simon Monjack's sickness and later, his death. His wife, Brittany Murphy, passed away before him from the same causes, and we'd love to know what's going on in that house. Black mold?
One magazine says yes. The coroner stated that Monjack and Murphy both died of pneumonia and anemia, and since they died just six months apart, there could be a serious mold problem in their home. Sharon, Brittany Murphy's mom, is not living in the house right now, and that's good--the Department of Health is going to be combing it to look for signs of mold growth.

In a video released after Murphy's death, we were surprised to see how cluttered and dark their home was. Their bathroom cabinet and counter looked insane, and it's not hard to imagine an insidious mold spreading inside. In fact, when Brittany Murphy passed away, mold growth was noted in the report, but it wasn't considered a "contributing factor."
Could Celebitchy have been right about the mold? It sounds like we'll have an answer to that soon enough! Simon Monjack also needed to have bypass surgery, but he was putting it off, said his spokesperson, Ryan Neal.
Wouldn't it be tragic if mold really were tied to the death of the couple? Someone needs to do some black mold PSAs, pronto!
