Ashley Tisdale Backtracks on Zac's "Disgusting" Kiss

Ashley Tisdale recently did an exclusive with PopEater to clarify her comment that kissing Zac Efron was "disgusting." It turns out that she just didn't want to tick off Vanessa Hudgens, and she also reminded us that she was way older than Zac at the time of the smooch, from a teen's perspective.

"I think disgusting was such a bad word for that; it sounds so dramatic," Ashley told PopEater. "I was exhausted and it was my last interview before lunch. I'm like - 'Okay, it was not disgusting.' It was just weird and awkward. If I was like, 'Oh yeah, I liked it,' I don't think Vanessa [Hudgens] would like that very much."

And about that age difference?

"Our relationship, it was different from the start. He's a lot younger than me, and he looked even younger when I met him. He was 16, I think, and I was 19. That's a big difference at that age."

Ashley said that she always knew that she would be friends with Zac, but that their relationship is even better now that he's dating Vanessa.
