Fresh Beauty

As soon as you get past college age, you start wondering if the stuff you do causes wrinkles. Does your smile wrinkle the skin around your eyes too much? Are you using the right lotions and potions? We've got some great beauty tips for you here, thanks to our partners at Total Beauty.

Want beautiful skin? The pros are the ones with the glowing faces, and this is what they do.

*They believe in the power of SPF. Total Beauty asked many of their loyal readers what they recommend for a fresh face, and the most popular tip was to pay attention to SPF protection. Apply it separately, get it in your facial moisturizer, and be sure to reapply when you hit the beach.

*They're all about fiber. Sometimes your skin can look muddy or tired if your system isn't cleaned out. Be sure to get your whole grains in, plus plenty of water, so your system doesn't keep those toxins stuck inside. Plus, doesn't a slice of whole grain toast and preserves sound so good right now?

*They stay hands-off. Nearly all of us fuss with our skin, and popping pimples is just part of it. Try to stay away from rubbing and squeezing if you want your skin to look clear. If you start digging, it'll be harder to get rid of the red, scarred skin than a pimple.

*They use a mask once a week. Try to find a DIY mask that you love-- oily skin will benefit from something that draws oil to the surface, while cleaning out the pores. Apply a mud mask once a week, or whip something up at home for pretty skin.

If you're a beauty queen, and you want to keep your skin glowing and lovely, then it's time to start using some of these techniques. I hadn't thought much about the fiber one, so I'll be playing more attention to that from now on!
