Bethenny Frankel And Jason Hoppy Lost At Sea For 20 Hours
Frankel's Drama Of A Life Goes Nautical
This is the stuff of horror movies. Literally -- remember Open Water or The Perfect Storm? Bethenny Frankel shared a similar story with E! news, as she explained to them about her 20 terrifying hours lost at sea with husband Jason Hoppy.
"I was on a sailboat on Saturday that was supposed to be eight hours and it ended up being 20 because were lost at sea," the former real housewife/author/Skinnygirl revealed.

Frankel and Hopp were bound for Nantucket, MA from Block Island, along with 10 other passengers (including a Bravo TV crew), when they're ship was hit by a big wave. The boat's GPS then malfunctioned and everyone aboard went into panic mode.
"We were in the middle of the deep sea with no land or anybody near us," she said. "The captain had never, in 30 years, called the Coast Guard."
"I was thinking, Oh, my God, Bryn! I'm not going to be there at six o'clock in the morning when she wakes up and she's going to wonder where Mommy is and gosh, if something were to happen to me, what would happen to her. I was having horrendous thoughts."

A Coast Guard spokesperson later confirmed they were guided back to shore at about 4 am.
Sounds like a really scary ordeal but, fortunately for us, since the Bravo cameras just happened to be aboard, it's likely that we'll be seeing footage at some point.
