Bethenny Frankel's Mom: Jill Zarin's Jealous About 'Skating With The Start'

 Bethenny Frankel may have left "The Real Housewives of New York" for a network gig, but she hasn't stopped creating RH drama-rama! Bethenny's mom is speaking out to reveal why she believes her daughter took the "Skating with the Stars" gig...it's to make her former castmates jealous.

Bernadette Burke and Bethenny Frankel are the volatile mother-daughter combo who have been estranged for 10 years. Bethenny spoke out after giving birth to her daughter last year to say that she'd been scared to parent after being neglected by her allegedly alcoholic mom...and mama Bernadette's biting back by revealing that Bethenny has some "Skating with the Stars" intentions that are even colder than ice.

Burke told Radar she knows why daughter Bethenny was so hot for "Skating with the Stars": it was to hurt Jill Zarin's feelings. "As soon as I saw that she was going to be on 'Skating with the Stars' I just knew she had an ulterior motive," Frankel's mom told Radar Online. "It is for fame and the to one up Jill Zarin."

Bethenny's mom said the minimal amount of "Real Housewives" watching she's done clearly demonstrates how catty Bethenny Frankel and her frenemies are: "I've watched only three episodes of the show," said Burke, "and in one Jill Zarin was so proud of her skating and even had a party ... As soon as I saw Bethenny was skating, I knew she had another reason than just having fun."

Meanwhile Bethenny took to Twitter to rub in her decision to break the ice on the next step in her career: "OMG seeing the promo made me almost wet myself," Bethenny tweeted after the "Skating with the Stars" cast was announced on ABC last week. "I legally wasn't allowed to say a peep which was so hard. I tell you guys all!"
