Cheating soccer star Donovan filed for divorce Tuesday.

Bianca Kajlich from "Rules of Engagement" and her husband, Landon Donovan, have endured one of the most dramatic relationships known to entertainment. After a lovechild scandal during this year's World Cup, it looked like the pair were ready to make a go of things...but we have details on Landon Donovan's divorce filing earlier this week.

Landon Donovan and Bianca Kajlich wed on New Year's Eve 2006 in Santa Barbara. Donovan's soccer career skyrocketed and caused him to travel to exotic, women-filled locations; while Kajlich's acting career solidified when she scored the primetime role on "Rules of Engagement." The hectic paces and rare reunions did a serious number on the marriage between Kajlich, 33, and Donovan, 28.

This was definitely clear last summer when word got out that Landon Donovan had a British mistress who was reportedly expecting his child. Donovan made it clear that he would take responsibility if a paternity test pointed to him as the father, and Bianca Kajlich demonstrated major grace throughout the scandal. Then Landon made a statement surrounding the World Cup to inform us all of the test's results: "I will not be a dad any time soon, which is good news for me," Donovan said.

But that appears to have been the end of Landon Donovan's relief this year. Things with Bianca Kajlich have not mended, and TMZ's reporting that on Tuesday, Dec. 21, Donovan filed for divorce. He's citing irreconcirable differences as the reason for the official split and (ugh!) is seeking spousal support.

But again, Bianca Kajlich is demonstrating her class this week by having co-released a statement with Donovan that said, "We remain the closest of friends and will always be important parts of each other's lives."
