Billy Ray Cyrus' Twitter Rap Rebuttal
Because Billy Ray loves Twitter
Well, kind of. We all saw Miley Cyrus's video rap about why she left Twitter. Then we heard Billy Ray Cyrus' pleas to get her back on the microblogging service website. Now Jimmy Fallon has created Billy Cyrus his own rap.
Sometimes we aren't crazy about Jimmy Fallon, but when it comes to his imitations, he's king. Whether he's spoofing on Robert Pattinson in "Robert is Bothered," or goofing on any other big-time celebrity, he's hilarious. And we love his take on Billy Ray Cyrus and his obsession with Twitter.
Billy Ray Cyrus was a bit upset that his daughter Miley Cyrus decided to close her Twitter account. He pleaded for her to come back saying, "Miley. You are a light in a world of darkness. You were born 'Destiny Hope Cyrus' for a reason. You can't leave everyone now. We r countin on u." But she hasn't returned.
We don't personally have anything against Billy Ray Cyrus, but we agree he does have a bit of a douchey personality. And in Jimmy Fallon's imitation, he wants us all to know he's still on Twitter even though Miley's not. The rap is absolutely hilarious, with Jimmy as Billy singing, "Miley might be gone, but I'm still here... You should follow me if you used to follow Miley, I'm still here... As long as my heart's beatin' I'm gonna be Tweetin'... I'm on computers like a virus, Call me Mr. Miley Cyrus."
We hope that Billy Ray and Miley Cyrus get a look at this amazing video! We are a bit surprised Miley still hasn't returned to Twitter; she must have really meant what she said in that rap. Following Billy Ray Cyrus is definitely not a fair substitute, but we'll do it anyway. You know he'll give us some peeks into Miley's life.
