The Houstons: On Our Own Will Premiere Oct. 24

Just as Whitney Houston's daughter Bobbi Kristina and her family prepare to become reality TV stars on a new Lifetime series, the girl her family calls "Krissy" is making headlines for a car crash in which she and her boyfriend totaled the front of his car.

TMZ.com has photos of Nick Gordon's wrecked 2012 Camaro, which is missing a passenger side tire and has a completely smashed front bumper.

The accident, in which Gordon was driving and Bobbi Kristina was the passenger, happened Sunday night in Alpharetta, Georgia, TMZ reports. No one was injured, apparently, and no other car was involved in the accident, which may have happened while the couple was arguing.

Cops are investigating the accident, TMZ reports, including how the damaged vehicle, which had deployed airbags, was driven back to the couple's apartment.

Meanwhile, Lifetime has announced the Oct. 24 premiere of The Houstons: On Our Own, a reality series that will focus on Houston's 19-year-old daughter and her family's attempt to help her deal with her mom's death.

Bobbi Kristina, the offspring of Houston and R&B singer Bobby Brown, is called "Krissy" by her family, namely her Aunt Pat Houston (who was also Whitney Houston's manager); Pat's daughter Rayah; Whitney's mom, gospel singer Cissy Houston; Gary, Whitney's brother; and Gordon -- the "family friend" as the Lifetime press release calls him.

The 14-episode season of The Houstons "will follow (Pat), Krissy’s aunt, guardian, manager and executor of Whitney’s estate, as she tries her best to keep this large family together as they help Krissy deal with the loss of her mother in a healthy way and grow into a talented and beautiful young woman," Lifetime's release reads.

Leading up to the new series, Lifetime will also air Remembering Whitney on Oct. 17. The one-hour special will include interviews with the late singer, as well as never-before-seen footage of her, home videos, family photos and interviews with family members like Bobbi Kristina, Pat, Gary and Cissy Houston.

Houston died on Feb. 11, the weekend of the 2012 Grammy Awards, after accidentally drowning in the bathtub of her room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

One of the most successful recording artists of all time, Houston has sold more than 170 million albums worldwide.
