Bond Brings In Money. Big Money.
Quantum of Solace scores many a moneypenny.
James Bond has beat out Harry Potter. The latest installment of the Bond franchise, Quantum of Solace, boasted the biggest box office opening in the U.K. ever. Not even Harry Potter and his Goblet of Fire did better.
At $38.6 million, Quantum's opening weekend was 35 percent higher than the previous Bond film, Casino Royale, which may mean audiences are warming to new Bond hottie Daniel Craig. We know we are.
