Brad And Angelina Donate Generously To Haiti Earthquake Relief

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie use their power for good again.

While Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are one of Hollywood's most scrutinized couples, they're arguably also  one of the most generous. Brad and Angelina have showered a hefty sum of money -- and genuine concern -- toward victims of this week's earthquake in Haiti.

For years Angie has been known for her humanitarian concerns and has served as a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations since 2001, and it seems she's brought out the best in Brad as well. On Thursday we received word that they were sending $1 million in aide to Haiti for rescue and cleanup efforts in the aftermath of the earthquake near Port-au-Prince.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie also issued a statement that included the following: "We are devastated by the news from Haiti. We will work closely with our good friend Wyclef Jean to support the humanitarian efforts on the island and help those who have been injured and left without homes and shelter."
