Most children find grizzly-looking characters to be frightening, but a new report reveals that two-year-old Knox and Vivienne Jolie-Pitt screamed when they saw their dad's clean-shaved look recently. Knox and Viv demanded to Angelina: "Where's Daddy?"

Apparently Brad Pitt's own children were even more surprised than the rest of the world was when Pitt revealed a smooth face right before Angelina Jolie's "Salt" premiere. A new account reveals that the two youngest of the Jolie-Pitt children were "confused" when they saw Brad Pitt for the first time when he emerged without the scruffy beard that the public -- and reportedly Angelina -- had been criticizing for months. "Who's that man? Where's Daddy?" the kids are said to have shouted to Angelina Jolie when a smooth-faced "stranger" approached them to show them affection.

A Brangelina source has been quoted in the "Enquirer" saying, "Knox and Vivienne were so young when Brad started growing his beard that they didn't know him any other way." The insider also said that the Jolie-Pitt tots were "practically in tears" when Brad came home from his stylist: "Brad kissed and hugged them when he left for the hairstylist," said the source, "but when he came home three hours later with his hair cut, the gray dyed out and his face totally smooth, Knox and Vivienne ran away from him screaming.

Brad Pitt's new look wasn't just to please Ange -- it's for his role in "Moneyball," a baseball film about a tech-savvy manager, Billie Beane, whom Pitt is set to portray. The film started taping on July 12.
