Bradley Cooper’s The Hangover Set For Bollywood
Bradley Cooper's hilarious new movie The Hangover is reportedly set for a Bollywood remake. Acclaimed film writer and director Anees Bazmee will direct the flick with Firoz Nadiadwala producing the Bollywood remake of the movie.
The Hollywood version of the comedy flick, about a group of friends who lose their groom-to-be during a stag night, starred Cooper, Ed Helms and Heather Graham. Award-winning actors Abhishek Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt and Paresh Rawal are expected to star in the remake. However, critics are allegedly wondering how a Bollywood remake will capture the comedy of the Hollywood film, as well as translate some of the dialogue into Hindustani. Acclaimed Hindu statesman Rajan Zed, who is president of Universal Society of Hinduism, has said he welcomes the Hollywood-Bollywood partnership. However, he added that Bollywood should focus on the rich heritage of India and not just copy Hollywood.
