Taylor Lautner, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will get rich.

New Moon may have just risen for Twilight fans, but that doesn't mean it's too early to talk about the rest of the series. Rumors are running rampant now that after the third film, Eclipse, the series' finale, Breaking Dawn, will be split into two movies.

This has been a huge couple of weeks for fans of Stephenie Meyer's teenage vampire saga. First the second installment in the series, New Moon, opened to record-breaking sales at the box office, then the release date for Eclipse was announced, and now word is out that Breaking Dawn will be divided up into two movies.

According to Variety, sources say Summit Entertainment is considering the split, much like the upcoming finale to the Harry Potter series. Still, the studio will have to figure out if New Moon director Chris Weitz will want to return and shoot the movies back-to-back.

Bella herself, Kristen Stewart, echoes the studio's desire to bring Weitz back.

"I think Chris Weitz should do it," she said. "I had such a good experience with him on 'New Moon.' He was so considerate and there and passionate and compassionate. One of the nicest guys I've ever met in my life."

Of course, a fifth film would force Summit to reopen negotiations with the series' main stars, Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner. The actors are only signed to do four films. And considering the recent success of New Moon, they may be able to pull eight-figure paydays from a new deal.
