Breaking Dawn Rumors, But No Confirmation

Still waiting on Breaking Dawn news

Gosh, if you've been following news about the potential Breaking Dawn movie this weekend, you're probably pretty confused. Some people are saying it's been green-lighted and others are saying it isn't a "go" just yet. We have a feeling it's only a matter of time, but we want to know now!

The blogs and Twilight websites are going crazy with speculation about the 4th movie in the Twilight series. One blog posted information saying Breaking Dawn has been green lighted, though a new director had not yet been named. Everyone was all abuzz about the movie and the casting of half-vampire, half-human Renesmee Cullen. The blog also claimed Summit Entertainment was bringing a second production company on board called Sunswept Entertainment.

But are we to believe one blog really got all of this exclusive information when nobody else has heard anything about it? In fact, spokespeople from Summit are shooting these rumors down, saying, "The film has not been greenlit - and thus no decisions about the film's shooting location, start date, the director, etc... have been made." Nobody from the Twilight movies seems to have heard anything about Breaking Dawn yet.

We don't believe it's been green lighted yet, but we really don't think we're too far from hearing news. How could they not make the Breaking Dawn movie? We've heard Robert Pattinson confirm that he'll be doing Breaking Dawn, so we think it just hasn't been made absolutely 100% official yet. But we're hoping we'll get the big announcement soon. Maybe they're still trying to decide whether or not to make that last book into one movie or two.
