Bret Michaels' New Reality Show: 'Life As I Know It'

A whole new Bret

When we think Bret Michaels and reality television, we think Rock of Love and somewhat trashy dating shows. But we've recently seen a side of Bret we didn't know existed. And it sounds like he wants to show us even more of that side in his upcoming VH1 reality show, Life As I Know It.

We're willing to bet Bret Michaels has earned himself a whole new subset of fans in the past couple months. Between his amazing still-not-over stint on Celebrity Apprentice and his recently health scares, we've seen sides of Bret that are much softer than anything we've seen before.

VH1 is saying the show will be, "giving viewers an insider's look at Bret's home life when he isn't touring, shooting, partying, and rocking out." To be honest, we have a feeling VH1 is actually a little psyched that Bret Michaels has been through so much lately. Viewership will likely be huge for this new show because suddenly, everyone is obsessed with Bret!

The Executive Vice President of Original Programming and Production at VH1 says, "Bret is family to us and has always been a huge hit on the network, headlining several series and specials that have garnered record breaking ratings and made a strong connection with our audience. We have temporarily halted production on the series with Bret's health as our primary concern. Production will resume when it is cleared by his doctors."

But because of all the sudden interest over Bret Michaels, VH1 will be showing a sneak peek Life As I Know It over Memoral Day weekend. The series is set to premiere on VH1 some time in the fall. Will you be watching to learn more about Bret Michaels' private life?
