Bret Michaels Father: Prognosis Not Good, But Your Prayers Help (PHOTOS)

Today Show reveals more details on Bret Michaels' recovery.

An expert appeared on the Today Show Tuesday morning to explain the shocker that Bret Michaels' brain hemorrhage is actually considered to be a stroke. It's the result of a burst blood vessel, and the type of hemorrhage Michaels suffered happens to only 65,000 people  every year. Celebrity Apprentice master Donald Trump also appeared on Today to share more on his knowledge and feelings of Bret Michaels' situation. We've never seen Trump so kind...check out our video.

An expert explained on the Today Show that the brain hemorrhage that Bret Michaels experienced would have been the most excruciating pain possible. The expert also said that "the fact that the doctors haven't spoken and the family hasn't spoken is worrisome, to me" and that some people walk away from brain hemorrhages, while others don't survive.

Donald Trump then came on to chat with Matt Lauer to say he feels "guilty" for how tough he's been on Bret Michaels throughout this season on Celebrity Apprentice. Trump said that Michaels is the toughest competitor on the show but that he'd warned Bret that with his diabetes, he might want to slow down a little. Trump described how upset Bret Michaels was on a recent episode of Celebrity Apprentice to learn that like him, his young daughter has diabetes. Donald Trump also said that Celebrity Apprentice, which taped two months ago, has never seen a situation like this before and that he "can't imagine" Bret Michaels will be at the live taping of the finale in four weeks. "But," Trump said, "knowing Bret he might very well be ... forget the show -- I just hope he makes it."
