Britney Spears Could Star in a New Movie

Brit back on the big screen?

Could this even be possible? It's being reported that Britney Spears could appear in an upcoming movie about a World War II romance. Does that mean she's actually going to be playing in a serious role?

It sounds like straight to DVD for us. Remember Britney's first and only movie, Crossroads? Yeah. It proved that Britney Spears is not an actress and should stick to singing. It was a major flop and probably nobody but her biggest fans saw it (and it's highly likely that even they didn't like it).

But it's being reported that after she returns from her Circus tour, Britney will be starring in The Yellow Star of Sophie and Eton, which is about a woman (Britney) who builds a time machine and returns to WWII Germany where she meets and falls in love with a man in a concentration camp.

Can't really see Britney in this role? Nope, neither can we, which is why we're not sure we can really believe it. And we have a feeling that if it does happen, it's going to be another big flop. But who knows, maybe Britney will surprise us all.
