shows getting cancelled
Fox's Do Not Disturb was so bad its producers actually apologized!

Terminator to be terminated? HEROES, too?!

It's that time of year again. Studio execs are popping Xanax like Skittles trying to decide which shows to axe and which to spare.

What's In Danger
On the chopping block is Fox's Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, CBS's Gary Unmarried, NBC's Knight Rider, and CBS's The New Adventures of Old Christine. Earl and the Lipstick ladies might also be in jeopardy.

What's Rumored To Be In Danger
Kath & Kim
, Dollhouse, Pushing Daisies, Life, and maybe, possibly, shocking as it might seem, Heroes.

Who Decides
Producers with comb-overs and Porsche SUVs, duh. It's all about how many 18-49 year-olds are watching. You know, 'cause that's who buys Swiffers and iPods and Glade PlugIns.

What's Winning
Series newbie Fringe is hitting that 18-49 sweet spot and seeing the rewards. The show's just been given a full season, as has the CBS detective drama The Mentalist.
