The couple confirm their engagement!

For months we've had our eyes on Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher, as in the recent months of their one-year engagement we've noticed them heating up. First there was Carrie's "I love you" shout-out to Mike in her Play On liner notes and then the rumors they were moving in together. Finally today it became official -- Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher are getting married!

Mike Fisher confirmed to reporters Monday morning as his NHL Ottawa Senators prepared for their game against the Boston Bruins in Ottawa: "It's true. We're both obviously excited and very happy."

Carrie agrees, as her rep confirmed Monday, "I'm happy to confirm that Carrie Underwood is engaged to Mike Fisher, and the couple couldn't be happier. No wedding date has been set at this time."
