Carrie Underwood: Ex Tony Romo Doesn't Deserve A Song
"Cowboy Casanova" not about Tony Romo.
Sorry, but we love when female pop stars get the chance to take shots at their exes. Recently a reporter called Carrie Underwood on the carpet about the song that everyone's loving right now, "Cowboy Casanova" -- was it about Romo?, they asked. Carrie Underwood says no way.
"No, I would never immortalize a guy that did me wrong. I would never give him that much credit." Sha-zam! So what's the real story behind their split? Underwood has said, "Point blank, he is about football. I don't know if it's that I'm not quite his type or whatever, but I don't think he's at the point in his life where he would be willing to sacrifice football. He hated so much that people thought that he was paying more attention to me and that was causing him to not do well.''
Jessica Simpson (who has confessed that her song "Back In My Old Boots" was about Romo) dealt with the same thing...but now she's getting revenge and reportedly back in love.
.
Meanwhile, Carrie Underwood is way happy with Mike Fisher these days (and only Fisher's second serious girlfriend). Smell ya later, Romo.
