Carrie Underwood on 'How I Met Your Mother'
Carrie Underwood the actress?
One of our favorite musicians meets one of our favorite shows. And that's something I think all of us can get behind. The always-beautiful Carrie Underwood recently had a guest-spot (yet to air) on How I Met Your Mother. And now she's talking about her experience on the set!
In a How I Met Your Mother episode that is set to air in March, Carrie Underwood is playing a pharmaceutical rep who is also a love interest for Ted (Josh Radnor). It sounds like Carrie had a total blast filming the show and she said, "I'm giving up the music business and I'm going to become a professional sitcom actress! Just kidding, of course, but I did have a blast while I was there." Then again, I know plenty of actresses who manage to act and sing; maybe there's a future career for Carrie?
From the way Carrie describes her time on the set, it sounds like the whole cast is pretty awesome and working on the show is a lot of fun. She says, "They made me feel right at home and were super patient and great with me and my lack of experience!... I got to hang out with the whole cast, dress up like a flight attendant, play a cavewoman and had a baby pig poop on me...that's right...jealous?" Luckily, Carrie grew up on a farm, so she didn't have too tough a time with the pig.
Imagine how amazing it would be to act with Neil Patrick Harris? He tweeted out the above photo of himself and Carrie on the set and said, "This week's awesome guest star... HIMYM - You'll Love The Way We Fly!" Carrie is supposed to be playing a pharmaceutical sales rep, but she definitely looks like an old-fashioned flight attendant here. There's no doubt that Carrie Underwood is having an amazing year.
