Johnson was laid to rest Sunday in New Jersey.

While we've followed closely the story of Casey Johnson's passing last week and how the Johnson & Johnsons planned to proceed, exact details of her funeral stayed undercover. We've just learned the latest.

Radar Online has reported that thirty-year-old Johnson was laid to rest on Sunday, January 10, in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Some reports suggest that the Johnson family have buried her body on their property, but others seem to believe that she will rest permanently in a New Brunswick cemetary.

Casey Johnson's father hosted a memorial reception, and it's said Casey's longtime friends Paris and Nicky Hilton attended. The funeral was invitation-only, and as we reported early Monday, Casey's purported fiancee Tila Tequila was absolutely not on the guest list (read Tila's tweets as a response to that fiasco here).

We weren't exactly sure how the Johnsons would handle Casey's funeral, but it's a relief to hear it was a revered affair. We were a little horrified to have heard on Saturday that they were in Cincinnati watching football together.
