Lame celeb apologies don't just start at Kanye: while he might be the most talked-about underdog (and rightly so) this week, he's not alone. The Frisky rounded up some lame celeb apologies and laid them out for us to groan at. . . it's definitely not pretty.

Here are some of the worst:

*Christian Bale called in to station KROQ to say that he had a "potty mouth" after the clip was released of him berating crew on the set of Terminator 4. It's just too bad he sounded like he was in traffic.

*Ashlee Simpson ruined her apology regarding the lip-syncing with a silly move: killing the sincerity with an "aw, shucks" motion.

*After Sharon Stone mentioned that the earthquake that killed 10,000 in China could have been "karma," she mentioned "media sensationalism" in her apology. Fail.

*Mel Gibson simply sounded insincere are releasing a torrent of anti-Semitic slurs after being arrested for a DUI. If you're an actor, there's really no excuse.
