Fergie was seen pounding the pavement when she was trying to lose some extra weight, and she was seen wearing rather impressive cans on her ears to drown out the sound of the city--and the paparazzi. While I don't advocate turning up the volume so loud you're not aware of your surroundings (gulp), I have a cool recommendation for ear buds and headphones for you.

Ear Pollution ear buds and headphones are my very favorites out there, and they have a ton of different styles for the gym. Custom Flows are priced at $19.99 and are particularly stylish: you can choose a pattern along the back, as well as the trim and the base (black, grey, or white). They also come in a cool zippered case.

I think that gadgets can get you in the gym, and these are no exception. I feel awesome when my running soundtrack is blasting, and if you don't like the ones I personally wear, they have some cool in-canal ones that would be good for the gym, but aren't recommended for the trail (especially in cities!).

I'm also heard that their Metal Drumz are good for runners, and some have said that they are fair replacements for precious Apple ones. For around $25, that sounds pretty sweet to me!
