Chanel Two-Tone Tights: Hot Or Not?

At least they're not leggings. Chanel debuts its two-tone tights.

Fashionistas are clamoring for these. We are not amused.

Chanel's Kaiser Karl has done it again. Weird, arty, and in demand, the two-tone leggings that he debuted in his Fall/Winter Ready-to-Wear collection for 2009 have the fashion elite in a buying dither.

The tights have the always titillating interlocking Cs graphic, and they are Chanel, but two-tone? They make legs twice as big. Maybe they work on The Agyness, but what real woman wants to transform her legs into tree trunks?

If you're Chanel loyal, please pair them with extra high heels to elongate the leg, stick with a neutral short dress, and don't wear too much jewelry or accessories. The tights need to be the focal point, everything else is just noise.
