Channing Tatum and Rihanna Not Planning Bodyguard Remake
Channing Tatum has denied reports he will appear in a remake of The Bodyguard with Rihanna.
Newly married Channing, 29, who stars in the new film G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, told Australia’s Famous magazine: “No. I don’t know who started that rumour but it’s buzzing around all over the place. “Look, I love Rihanna, but I’m really not interested in dong something that’s been done before and is so iconic.” Former male model Channing, who married Step Up co-star Jenna Dewan on July 11, also denied being good looking. “It’s all bullshit. That’s not to say I’m completely flattered and thankful of the attention, but I certainly don’t believe a word of it," he said. “My mates tease me about it all the time.” The Bodyguard, starring Kevin Costner and Whitney Houston, was released in 1992.
