Child Protective Services Visits Tiger Woods' Home
Investigators move in as reports of a new marital row surface.
It's being reported in the Tiger Woods scandal that an incredible new twist has taken place: over the weekend a sheriff showed up to Tiger Woods' Windermere, Florida home with an official from the Florida State Department of Children and Families. While the cause of the visit isn't known just yet, here are the details we have.
Our pals at TMZ reported Saturday that the child services department received a "complaint" and then contacted the Orange County Sheriff's Department to gain access to Tiger Woods' residence in the gated Islewood community where Woods lives. It's reported this all went down on Friday, and the visit is being referred to as a "well-being check."
It's not been specified whether the complaint was regarding the care of Tiger's two children, because it's said that the Florida State Department of Children and Families also works to address domestic issues between spouses. Capt. Angelo Nieves at the Sheriff's Department could only confirm this after showing up at the Woods residence in a police car alongside an unmarked child services car: "Our deputies met with members of the Department of Children and Families. But all details are being kept secret."
.
Meanwhile it is very possible that another spat has taken place between Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren. What appeared to be a moving truck showed up outside their home over the weekend, and an unnamed person carried approximately half a dozen boxes out to it. Nordegren was also seen pumping gas on Sunday afternoon without her wedding ring.
