Christian Louboutin is Teaming Up With Barbie

This could also be known as the best idea ever. Mattel's Barbie has always been totally fashionable. And it makes perfect sense that she should be rocking the Christian Louboutins, just like the ladies of Sex and the City. We can't wait to see her wearing them!

Now that most of us are all grown up, we probably don't think about Barbie all too often. But she's still alive and well; and many adults have collections of special-edition Barbies. And now there's a totally fashionable new Barbie on the block. She's so fashionable, she's going to be wearing chic Christian Louboutin shoes.

Christian Louboutin has created Barbie pink shoes with his classic red soles for Barbie's birthday this year. What a nice Godfather Christian is. Yes, Barbie is his Goddaughter for the year. And remember? He altered poor Barbie's ankles because he thought she had cankles! He's tried to clarify that since, by saying, "Barbie's foot has always been shaped less ‘curvy' than the rest of her perfect body. I just added my little science to Barbie and I've been proud to serve her. But fat ankles she didn't have, she just could have had thinner ankles. That's all."

OK, we guess Barbie's so freaking skinny anyway, her ankles should fit along with the rest of her body. We just want to see her wearing the Louboutins. The Louboutin Barbies will have a staggered release with the first jewel-thief-themed Barbie being released in December. Then will be a safari-themed Barbie in February (see her hot safari shoes above!), and a third doll in May.

We're kind of jealous of Barbie. She gets super skinny ankles and Christian Louboutins, that lucky girls!
