Christian Louboutin to Debut Blake Lively Shoe

Wouldn't it be nice to be Blake Lively? For many reasons, of course. But right now, I'm pretty jealous that she just got a pair of brand new Christian Louboutins named after her. I can only imagine being so lucky some day. A pair of "Susie" Christian Louboutins? Sounds great to me!

We've long been fans of Blake Lively's fashion sense here at LimeLife. But I think she just reached a whole new level. The amazing shoe designer, Christian Louboutin has named a pair of shoes after the Gossip Girl actress. And it sounds like Blake feels like she's finally made it.

Blake actually announced her own Louboutin shoes last year on Live with Regis and Kelly, but now we're finally getting a look at the shoe. She told the daytime talk show duo, "I went to [Louboutin's] atelier and I was walking around, like every shoe here is so beautiful and I saw this one pair and I said: ‘I've never seen anything like it.' He said: ‘Do you love it?' I said: ‘I want to sleep with it under my pillow every night' and he said: ‘We're naming it the Blake then.' It was insane. It's like my greatest accomplishment."

After all the television shows and movies Blake's been in, I love that she's calling her Christian Louboutin's her "greatest  accomplishment." And I really can't blame her.

So, what do you think? I'm not necessarily in love with the rainbow straps on the "Blake" Louboutins and think they might look silly or clown-like with anything other than a black dress. But I wouldn't complain about having any pair of Christian Louboutins named after me. And Blake is clearly a fan of the shoes, which is all that matters!

And if you love the shoes, you should be able to get them next month in boutiques that sell Christian Louboutins. For about $800. But I'm sure Blake landed a free pair... or 12.

Now, do you think Karl Lagerfeld will be upset by this Christian Louboutin love Blake is showing? Perhaps he'll have to name a Chanel bag after her, too. Not a bad life, Blake Lively.
