October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and we're looking forward to stocking up on pink pieces to support cancer research and all the brave women who are walking, fundraising, and presenting to raise more money for the cause. Adorably pregnant Christina Applegate helped design a necklace with Alex Woo to support breast cancer awareness, and the new piece is offered in both silver ($198) and gold ($998). Pricey, but for a good cause--money goes to the Right Action for Women cause!

"This piece reminds me so much of the roses I made out of ribbons for my friends and family while in the hospital," Christina said about her project, adding "I am so grateful to Alex for creating such a beautiful piece to benefit Right Action for Women. Proceeds from the necklace will help women at high risk for breast cancer get the screenings and testing they need to beat this disease."

We love Christina's hands-on activism. The seven leaves on the tree pendant represent each day of the week, and they're there to remind everyone to live each day to the fullest. That's one thing we can learn from anyone who has battled cancer.
