Lee, who just turned 88 last week, was presented with the 2,428th star on Hollywood's illustrious walkway. As usual, Lee made sure not to take the occasion too seriously.
"I'm really quite thrilled and quite honored and I just hope that someday I don't get a knock on the door saying we made a mistake, that was for someone else," Lee said at the ceremony.
Co-creator of superhero legends like Spider-Man, Iron Man, Thor and The X-Men, Lee's career in comics has lasted a whopping 70 years. His comics have sold over 2 million copies worldwide, and his characters have been featured in dozens of animated tv shows and multiple Hollywood blockbusters.

So it was only a matter of time before he got his due recognition. In concrete.
"I just don't want people walking on my name. I think I'll put a little fence around this thing, or something," Lee joked. "I love it, I never in a million years could have thought I'd get something like this for writing a few comic books stories."
And if the man himself could choose the life of any of his characters?

"Probably Iron Man," Lee said. "Because he's the richest and the girls like him the most."
