Conan O'Brien needed something snazzy as the name for his new show. Something eye-catching and jaw-dropping, something that would turn the heads of late-night tv watchers. That's why he went went with the classiest word he knows.

The Great Red-Haired One announced the title of his upcoming talk show in a YouTube video yesterday, saying the name is "simple and pure, like the man himself."
Seen sitting in a barren office, Conan (still sporting his famous vacation beard) greets viewers with the news that after spending millions of dollars and a thousand people working round the clock, his team has come up with a fabulous name for his upcoming talk show...

After goofing around because of his terrible penmanship (the show might actually be called "Conaw"), the popular host announced that the show will premiere on TBS on November 8.
O'Brien, 47, was host of Late Night with Conan O'Brien for 16 years before he took over The Tonight Show from Jay Leno in 2009. But Conan left after just 9 months on air when NBC brass wanted to move him over so Jay Leno could have a late night slot again.

So Leno got his job back, Conan got a whole buncha money and went on tour, and the rest is history.
