Conan O'Brien Tour For 30 Cities Announced
Conan O'Brien tour in 20 states will kick off in April.
Conan O'Brien's tour announcement just took place Thursday morning, and already tickets are selling out. We have what Conan's tweeting about the tour, as well as where you can get your hands on tickets.
Conan O'Brien's Twitter announcement of the tour kicked off like this for his 631,000 followers: "Hey Internet: I'm headed to your town on a half-assed comedy & music tour. Go to http://TeamCoco.com for tix. I repeat: It's half-assed." Within that very same hour, he said, "Alert! Teamcoco.com is jammed with too much traffic. If you can't get on, go to http://ticketmaster.com to buy your tickets. See you soon."
Conan O'Brien will be hitting 30 cities in 20 states, and apparently venues are already selling out. O'Brien tweeted Thursday morning that "We are now adding a second show in both NYC & Chicago. For that second show, I'll be doing all Liza Minnelli songs." Clearly Conan is in demand. Then seven minutes before our press time (approximately 12:40 p.m. EST) Massachusetts native Conan tweeted that he had added a second night in Boston "so my parents could come. And one of my brothers."
Conan O'Brien's tour kicks off on April 12 in Eugene, Oregon then moves down the West Coast, across to the South then throughout the Midwest and East Coast. Conan's tour ends on June 14 in Atlanta.
So it's two months of touring for Conan O'Brien, before he hits TV again in September. Stay with LimeLife for the updates. In other TV-democracy news that will make you happy, SNL has set a date for Betty White's hosting gig -- we have the details.
