Corey Feldman Blames Pedophilia For Taking The Life of Corey Haim

Hollywood is a twisted place, especially for child stars who outgrow their fame and embark on a life of drugs or crime - it's an all-to-common (and unfortunate) scenario. Now, in an interview with ABC's Nightline, Corey Feldman voices his opinion on what he feels is the catalyst behind some of the drama these people go through -- pedophilia.

The number one problem in Hollywood was, is and always will be pedophilia," Feldman says in the interview. "It's all done under the radar, but it's the big secret."

Feldman points his finger at the epidemic as being the number one reason that led to the passing of his good friend and former co-star Corey Haim.

"There's one person to blame in the death of Corey Haim," explains Feldman. "And that person happens to be a Hollywood mogul. And that person needs to be exposed, but unfortunately I can't be the one to do it. There was a circle of older men that surrounded themselves around this group of kids. They all had either their own power or connections to great power in the entertainment industry."

The 80s icon clammed up before revealing the name of the alleged perpetrator, but had plenty more to say on the subject in vague terms.

"I was surrounded by (pedophiles) when I was 14 years old ... didn't even know it," says Feldman. "It wasn't until I was old enough to realize what they were and what they wanted ... 'til I went, 'Oh my God, they were everywhere.'"

Making more sense than he has in quite some time, the 40-year-old notes that Haim's recreational drug use was a result of dealing with the molestation he experienced as a young kid.

Feldman, who always appears game to jump back into the Hollywood scene should he ever be offered a role, tries to soften the blow of everything he has just said by admitting that there are a lot of good people in the entertainment business, but follows it up with this:

"There's also a lot of really, really sick, corrupt people in this industry. There are people who have gotten away with (pedophilia) for so long that they feel that they're above the law. And that's gotta change. That's gotta stop."

Everyone knows Michael Bay is a pedophile, all the plotless scripts, jerky camerawork and explosions are just compensating.

This is really messed up, and it's sad that people can read this and make jokes about it.

It's good to hear that Feldman is starting to speak out against the industry. It's sad to see what happens to come of these kids.

I can't say I find this news terribly surprising. I've considered entering the industry for that very reason. Only briefly mind, a complete lack of talent or contacts was the biggest issue... Look up thepedophile on Blogspot.

Yet Corey spends all his extra time at Playboy Mansion parties, sucking the life out of the 18-year-old girls, many as young as 16, while complaining? " attention to me...please?"
