Courtney Love explains Twitter spat with The Veronicas

Courtney Love, caught in a Twitter spat with The Veronicas, an Aussie girl band riding a wave in the US, has moved to calm things down. Love, who earlier said Jess and Lisa Origliasso were "crappy," tried to clarify the issue by saying that the twins were wearing her clothes.

Love claimed the clothes were stolen from her and put up for sale on the Internet. She said that clothes were "coincidentally" bought by the twins. "I asked them not to physically wear these physical dresses," Love said. The girls are returning to Australia after a US tour for an exclusive fan gig at the Oxford Art Factory on September 10.
