DJ AM Wants $10 Million For Pain and Suffering
And another $10 mil for damages.
Get back, Glen Close. Someone else is talking up damages big time. DJ AM, who was seriously injured in a plane crash last year, is seeking $20 million in compensation.
DJ AM - real name Adam Goldstein - is suing plane maker Learjet and a bunch of other people. He is seeking $10 million for for medical damages, lost earnings and profit, and $10 million for mental and physical pain and suffering.
DJ AM and Travis Barker were the only passengers to survive the North Carolina plane crash. Barker's close friend and assistant, "Lil" Chris Baker, and bodyguard, Charles "Che" Still, as well as the pilot and co-pilot all perished in the crash.
Barker, AM, Still's mother and Baker's widow have all filed wrongful-death suits against various companies that they allege were responsible for the accident, but those lawsuits have been delayed until a government investigation into the September 19 crash has been completed.
A jury will decide if DJ AM is eligible for any damages if the case goes to trial.
