Dancing With the Stars' Karina and Maksim Get a Reality Show
Dancing into drama?
Two of Dancing With the Stars' most popular professional dancers, Karina Smirnoff and her fiance Maksim Chmerkovskiy are leaving the show for their own reality show. Not only will we miss seeing them compete on DWTS, but we wonder if a reality show will ruin another couple's marriage.
They seem like an adorable couple. But it's hard not to wonder why celebrities haven't learned yet. Reality television does generally not help your marriage. And this couple isn't even married yet. There haven't been any contracts signed yet, but the show is being described as a series that will follow the couple's "bi-coastal, dancing fever and wedding-planning lives."
According to Karina, "...hopefully it's going to premiere this fall. The show's just us trying to have a normal relationship being in the entertainment industry and opening a studio together."
A normal relationship on reality TV? We're not so sure Karina knows what she's saying, but we do wish them lots of luck. We think this could be a good one!
