Dennis Hopper has Prostate Cancer
And he's focusing on recovery.
Screen legend Dennis Hopper is facing an uphill battle -- the 73 year-old actor has been diagnosed with prostate cancer.
Hopper has cancelled all his travel plans and bookings in order to work on his treatment. According to his manager, Sam Maydew, the actor will be treated in a "special program" at the university of Southern California.
As for his prognosis and chance of recovery, only time will tell. "We're hoping for the best," said Maydew.
As one of the most repected names in Hollywood, Dennis Hopper's career has spanned well over half-a-century. He is best known for his roles in classics like Apocalypse Now and Easy Rider, but before that he starred in Rebel Without a Cause alongside James Dean.
So hopefully Mr. Hopper makes a speedy recovery and is able to get back to doing what he does best: making great movies.
