Lately we've been confused over the state of Cameron Diaz and Alex Rodriguez's relationship. Are they are aren't they still dating? We heard they broke up but now they're being spotted together once again. Did A-Rod really beg for Cameron Diaz to come back to him?

After seeing photos of Cameron Diaz and Matthew Morrison gallivanting around town together a couple weeks ago, we were feeling more and more certain that Cammy and famous Yankees player A-Rod really did split.

And according to HollywoodLife.com, they did split! And it was Alex Rodriguez who did the breaking up. And it was also Alex who realized he made a major mistake and begged for Cameron back. A source says, "He cut things off from her and she was really hurt. She wasn't looking to get married or anything, but Alex has a wandering eye and wanted to see other people. But, he missed her. Cameron is really a lot of fun and Alex always had a good time with her."

Perhaps A-Rod just couldn't find another leggy blonde who wanted to get cozy with him. But it didn't seem to be such a huge problem for Cameron Diaz who still managed to go out partying. She seems like the kind of girl who just doesn't let these things get her down. I envy that!

But, the source says the A-Rod and Cameron Diaz split didn't last long. And the couple has been spotted out and about together once again. The source claims, "He called her and asked her to get together and at first Cameron said, ‘no,' But after a long conversation he finally convinced her to meet with him. For now, it looks like all is forgiven."

It makes me wonder just how much longer these two will last. Is Alex Rodriguez cut out for a long-term relationship?
