Dina Lohan Reveals That Lindsay Cuts Herself

Michael Lohan's sold recordings reveal Lindsay's self-hate and pain.

And those recordings probably are causing even more of both. It's clear that Lindsay Lohan's parents have placed their 23-year-old daughter in the middle of their nasty conflict over who-cares-more-about-this-family-than-who. In a newly released recorded phone conversation, Dina Lohan confides in ex-husband Michael that Lindsay self-mutilates. We have the transcript details.

Michael Lohan says, "Just say Daddy, and I'll come in and it'll be all over with, and we can sit down and talk--" and Dina cuts him off, saying, "Michael, she doesn't want to see you right now."

Michael retorts, "She said she did, D." And Dina says, "Well, then why didn't she? ... I mean she's 22 years old. If she wants to see you, she'll see you."

Michael goes on to try to explain to Dina that he's "the one thing that represents, like--" and it sounds like he may say "authority" or "stability," before Dina cuts him off and says, "Her behavior? Yeah. Her cutting herself and hurting herself? Yeah."

Michael Lohan tells Dina that he can talk to Lindsay, and Dina interrupts again, saying, "It's bad, Michael. It's bad." Michael then asks her how they would both feel "if something happens" and Dina says, "I know it's gonna happen, and I will feel that it's all your fault, that's how I will feel. It's not about me."

Michael tells Dina he feels that if Lindsay seriously hurts herself, it will be "everyone else's fault" and demands that Dina "look at the people around her." The tape ends with the Lohan parents disagreeing over a friend of Lindsay. Michael says he thinks the friend is a bad influence and Dina says she loves that particular friend.

While we haven't agreed with Michael Lohan's approaches to getting Lindsay help, it's growing clearer that Dina Lohan may well be an enabler to Lindsay's self-mutilating behavior.
