Looking for somewhere to head off with the boyfriend for a weekend of canoodling? Check out the Cosmo Hot City Guide, which lists 100 U.S. cities to explore with someone special--and perhaps with a tote bag of tricks (if you get my drift).

Flip through for a place near you: there's bound to be somewhere that puts a smile on your face when it comes to picnic snacking, rooftop nights, ballroom dancing, and more. Cosmo lists cities in a number of states, even including spots that you might never have imagined giving you a romantic itch.

Among some of the least expected sexy cities were Burlington, Vermont, Lawrence, Kansas, and Oklahomas City. Sure, the tips aren't jam-packed with goodies, but they do give you a jumping-off point to hang out with your man in a romance-positive setting away from the home base. Methinks it's time to send your boyfriend, husband, fiance, consort, or partner an anonymous email with a hint or two about possible sexy mini-breaks in the near future. In fact, I think I will, too.
