Elin Nordegren is quickly rising to outshine her ex-husand's popularity among the American public. Nordegren is the new beacon for single moms in particular, as she reveals how her children have empowered her to move on with her life.

Elin Nordegren sat down for an interview with the British magazine "Hello!" to reveal what's been going on behind the scenes of her split from Tiger Woods. Nordegren said she felt, "absolute shock and disbelief" about her former husband's 2009 sex scandal. "I felt stupid as more things were revealed," Nordegren said. "How cold I have not known anything? The word betrayal is not strong enough; I felt like my whole world had fallen apart." 

Nordegren went on to reveal the source of her strength: "My children are the reason I'm getting through this," she said.

She also revealed that, especially for her children's sake, she does hope to one day find peace in forgiving Tiger Woods. "Forgiveness takes time," Nordegren said. "I am going to be completely honest and tell you I am working on it ... And I know I will get there eventually."
