Elin Nordegren Woods Offered $80 Million
Elin's Offered a Sweet Payoff
The only plus to having your heart trampled on when you're married to a famous guy? You can get a sweet figure for damages! According to sources who claimed that Rachel Uchitel got a nice lump sum from Tiger's people to quit her press conference, Elin's going to be getting $5 million, plus another $75 million for acting like a perfect wife for a certain amount of time. Does this sound sick to anyone else?
According to The Daily Beast, the pre-nup has been shortened to vest in seven years, meaning that Elin and Tiger have two years to go. There's also a new agreement spelling out certain payments to be made over 5 years. Here's more:
"So for Elin to collect $80 million, she'll need to stay with Tiger another seven years, be a dutiful wife in showing up with him at social events and in public as if they were still the perfect couple, and sign a nondisclosure form that will prevent her from ever telling her story."
Complicated? It might be worth it: "Even if she lasts only two more years, she'll still walk away with nearly twice what she was entitled to under the original prenup."
Imagine the legal pressure that's going on besides all that "intense" counseling. Bwa ha ha. Even if Elin never says a peep, primarily because she's always stayed out of the limelight, we know that she's making Tiger sweat, far worse than any of those girls on the side could have.
