Ellen Pompeo's "Fantastic"

Celebrities certainly have a different schedule than we mere peons: they bounce back quickly after giving birth (Nicole Richie, anyone?). Ellen Pompeo made her first public appearance since giving birth to Stella Luna just two weeks ago, and she seems to be doing nicely.

The Grey's Anatomy star popped her feet into heels and donned a sweater dress to tell the press that "everything is fantastic" at home, and that the best thing about being a new mom is "everything. I'm the luckiest girl in the world!"

There could be a play date or two on the far-off horizon for Ellen's Stella and her co-worker Katherine Heigl's new baby as well, although of course Ellen's new baby will have to "catch up" in age, she noted.

While I'm happy for Chris Ivery and Ellen Pompeo's new bundle of joy, is it wrong that I'm thankful that the paparazzi will do their job, and we'll be seeing shots of the family soon enough--perhaps frolicking in the park or looking cute on a stroll? I don't think it's asking too much, although it feels a slightly bad to admit out loud!
