Hermione loves Burberry?

You might only know her as Hermione, Harry Potter's little friend. But Emma Watson has grown and matured a lot since she starred in the first Harry Potter movie. She's become something of a fashion icon and now she's landed a deal with Burberry.

Burberry has always targeted a bit of a more mature audience. So you wouldn't really expect them to choose the actress who plays Harry Potter's friend to be the face of their new campaign. Emma Watson is now 19 years old. But that's still young- a teenager! But Emma totally portrays a grown-up, classic look.

Burberry's Creative Director, Christopher Bailey, says, "Having known and admired the lovely Emma Watson for quite some time, she was the obvious choice for this campaign, who like the images she fronts, has a classic beauty, a great character and a modern edge."

We agree. Emma Watson is the perfect mix of classic and modern and Burberry is obviously aware of the fact that a younger crowd is becoming interested in their brand.

Emma Watson, who has been known as a fashionista and is often seen attending fashion shows, will surely do the brand proud. Emma's campaign will appear in various print publications starting in August and will be for Burberry's Fall 2009 line.
