Evangeline Says That You Should Have Only One Kid

Evangeline Lilly kicked off her week with some rather controversial remarks on how we should save the planet, and let's just say that she's definitely going to get some hate mail after this one! Even if you agree with her recent commentary, you'll probably also agree that celebs need to know when to shut up.

Pretty Evangeline Lilly said that people need to slow down their offspring production to save Mother Earth, commenting that "For a very long time, I have had intentions to adopt. We have a huge population problem on Earth. We're not going to protect the Earth the way we need to protect it if we don't stop making so many babies."

I wish I could adopt, but unfortunately, I don't think I could afford it! Evangeline has said that despite her views on adoption, she wants to experience the "gift" of pregnancy soon-- she's been dating Dominic Monaghan since they met on the set of Lost in 2004.

"I have always wanted to have a child of my own and I will always want to go through the gift that women have been given to experience that, so I hope to be a mother at some point. I think I can allow myself one child – and from then on, I think I would have to adopt. It makes sense not to add to the population problem."

Wow! Say it with me: Hate Mail! This is good if she wants to have people talk about her, but could be pretty bad otherwise.

Hey, she's right! It seems the poorer the country, the more babies are born. This planet has a load limit and we are exceeding it. But this has to be voluntary, not imposed from the outside. Bring the third world countries up to the 21st century.
