Let Them Eat Cake. Heather Locklear And Gwyneth Paltrow Both Celebrate Birthdays This Week

Heather Locklear -- actress and husband collector -- turned 50 on Sunday and celebrated with a Hawaiian vacation. Wearing an itsy bitsy, teeny weenie, polka dot bikini, Locklear relaxed on the beach with her fiancée, fellow Melrose Place actor Jack Wagner.

According to reports this month, the couple were considering starring in their own reality show, but the idea was shelved because Locklear considered herself "a serious actress." Locklear is however, currently filming an upcoming television comedy movie The Assistants, with Lamorne Morris, David Henrie and T.J Miller. The film will follow four assistants who work for a celebrity couple.

It doesn't appear as though Locklear and Wagner have any current plans to work together again. The pair has been dating since 2007 and announced their engagement in August this year. A friend of the couple told People magazine, "She's in it for the long haul with Jack".

You may recall that this will be Locklear's third marriage, having divorced from rocker Tommy Lee in 1993, and Jon Bon Jovi star Richie Sambora in 2006. Third time lucky perhaps?

Following her divorce from Sambora, Locklear's well-being took a little turn for the worse. In 2008, after an odd run-in with the law when she was acting bizarrely behind the wheel and an equally strange 911 call that she was attempting to commit suicide, it was announced that she was seeking treatment for anxiety and depression at a facility in Arizona; although as you can see today, that appears to all be behind her as she seems to be a glowing picture of well-being.

In other birthday news, Gwyneth Paltrow, actress-turned-singer, is celebrating her 39th today. The Iron Man star has recently appeared on hit television show Glee, scoring a Primetime Emmy Award for the effort, and a reputation for randomly bursting into song.

It will be interesting to see what else Paltrow will get up to before turning the big 4-0 next year. Rumors are already surfacing about her appearing in a musical written by Glee creator Ryan Murphy.
