Facebook Bans Breastfeeding Pics

Not if it was up to Facebook! The site recently removed thousands of pics of breastfeeding mothers, labeling them "obscene content."

And if you thought the Mothers International Lactation Campaign was gonna take this news lying down or shrouded in a blanket, you’d be wrong. Many Lactovists have gathered to protest in front of Facebook headquarters in Palo Alto, California, and over 82,000 peeps have joined the Facebook petition group, “Hey Facebook, Breastfeeding Is Not Obscene.”

Still, Facebook stands behind its no nipple policy, saying there will be NO areolas of any kind on the site.

Guess those kids will have to lunch elsewhere!!
