Fans Told to Stop Kissing Edward Cullen Cutout

Attention Girls: It's not really Robert Pattinson!

Haven't you ever heard of swine flu? Apparently, when girls see a life-size cutout of Edward Cullen, they forget about viruses like swine flu and can't help but put their lips all over it. Well, now they're being told to stop.

Wow, I guess Edward Cullen just causes some girls to totally lose their minds. At a cinema in England, a life-size cardboard cutout of Robert Pattinson stands. And girls just can't seem to control themselves when they come across it. They must think that kissing this cardboard cutout is almost the same as kissing Robert Pattinson himself. Before entering the theater to see New Moon, lots of girls are stopping to smooch this giant piece of cardboard.

But don't they ever stop to think about all of the other girls who have kissed this cutout before them? Apparently not. Because theater managers had to go so far as to place a sign upon the cutout claiming, "Please help reduce the spread of germs by refraining from giving Edward, or any other character for that matter, a kiss or a hug." I'm sure some girls ignore the sign and go in for the kill anyway, but hopefully this keeps some people away.

The theater manager says it was completely necessary to place this sign upon Edward Cullen: "The girls were coming in and having their pictures taken. They were getting a bit carried away and in the nicest possible way we said, ‘Don't kiss him'." I can understand wanting a photo with a fake Robert Pattinson (kind of), but please, keep your lips away!

Not that we didn't all know it before, but some Robert Pattinson fans are officially crazy!
